JENNIFER GOLDSWORTHY

Director and Financial Adviser

B.Bus & Fin.Planning, JP (C.dec)

Team Goldsworthy Since: 2004

THE BUSINESS BIT

What I care about most is taking the time to truly listen and understand what my clients are trying to achieve, so I can tailor advice that genuinely suits their individual circumstances and goals.”

Jennifer has been recognised among Australia’s most influential financial advisers, earning a place in the Financial Standard FS Power50 in both 2024 and 2025. She also contributes to the broader advice profession through her leadership and advocacy work as a member and current chair of The Adviser’s Association.

“A typical day in my role is spent helping clients solve financial problems and make progress towards their goals. Every client’s situation is different, which is one of the things I enjoy most about financial planning.”

Jennifer loves seeing clients retire with confidence after years of hard work and disciplined saving, ready to enjoy more time for travel, family, hobbies and greater freedom. Just as importantly, she values being in their corner through life’s more difficult moments, such as illness or a bereavement, providing clarity and reassurance when it matters most.

At the end of the day, Jennifer applies her own “sleep at night test”: if she would feel comfortable following the same advice herself, she can recommend it with confidence and integrity.

Let’s Outsource That “Definitely the daily washing and putting away of clothes. I feel like I’ve been fighting a losing battle against Mount Laundry for years, and somehow there’s always another load waiting.”

I’ll Talk All Day About “Financial planning strategies, investment structures, and the numbers behind financial decision-making. I love unpacking complex situations and having robust strategic conversations. I really “nerd out”.

My Own Retirement “To spend as much time as possible near the beach. The ocean brings me peace. Plus ticking off some bucket-list experiences like walking the Camino and swimming in crystal-clear waters around the world. Approaching almost two decades in the financial services industry, Amy brings a calm, considered approach when helping clients find their way towards their own ideal retirement. Travel Style Preference “Anywhere and everywhere in our caravan. Being in that ‘young family’ era of life – being able to just drive and arrive somewhere beautiful all ready to go without wrangling a tent is really valuable right now.”

Guilty Pleasure “Reality TV. There I said it. Being able to tune out of life and be entertained by somebody else’s for a period of time I’m a sucker for. That and a really great quality coffee.”

Let’s Outsource That “Bringing IN the washing. Getting in there is one thing. But I’d really just love somebody to bring it in so I don’t forget and leave it out there…and then it rains.”

I’ll Talk All Day About “Anything!! I’m an open book. Except between the hours of 9-5 Monday to Friday…busy working then *wink wink*.”

Travel Style Preference “Give me a pool, warm sunshine, amazing food, a glass of wine and nowhere I absolutely have to be. The mission is simple: come home feeling refreshed, relaxed and genuinely rested.”

Guilty Pleasure “Reality TV. After a long day, I have a soft spot for entertainment that asks absolutely nothing of me in return. The more dramatic, chaotic and mildly ridiculous, the better.”

Let’s Outsource That “Anything involving cleaning, laundry or gardening. I want more time back for fun rather than chasing washing baskets.”

I’ll Talk All Day About “Food. Where to eat, what to order, which destinations are worth visiting just for the food and of course, recipes. I love hearing about the meals people can’t stop thinking about.

Historical Time Travel: The Beatles rooftop concert in London in 1969. It would have been amazing to witness such an iconic and spontaneous performance that became a memorable moment in music!”

My Own Retirement “My bucket list is far longer than my leave balance, so retirement feels like the perfect opportunity to start ticking travel destinations off one by one. I expect to be busier in retirement than I ever was while working.”

MEGAN CUFFE
